Verner’s Automotive Service is an independently owned and operated Volkswagen and Audi facility in Boulder, Colorado. We’ve provided the front range with  honest, affordable Volkswagen and Audi service  since 1986.

Verner’s specializes in just two types of cars in order to know them inside and out. It takes  years of experience and education  to truly understand the minute functioning of a car line, so we’ve consciously chosen to work only on Audis and Volkswagens, where we can offer superior service.

Verner Rocks! My son and I had VW Eurovan issues while vacationing in Rocky Mountain National Park from Oregon. Verner instantly got us in and diagnosed the problem. This was a problem that a mechanic in Oregon had misdiagnosed and failed to fix properly prior to our trip. Verner had us back on our vacation within 6 hours!

I’ve owned nearly 20 VWs and I’ve done a ton of wrenching myself (I’ve rebuilt aircooled engines, done tons of different repairs on both aircooled and watercooled). I can attest this shop is legit. It’s clear that they really KNOW VWs and are committed to providing quality service. If you have a VW in CO you’d be a fool to not let them work on yours.

Verner’s is amazing. A couple weeks ago my ‘05 Audi A4 check engine light came on. I initially took it to the dealership and called a few other shops, but all said it would be upwards of 2 weeks until they could look at my car. I called Verner’s and they offered to look at my engine that same day and ended up fixing the issue overnight, even though they were booked.

Verner’s team of ASE certified mechanics share a commitment to the local community and a passion for Audi and Volkswagen cars. Most of our team has been with us for more than a decade. They’re all people who weren’t interested in joining the corporate work environment that pervades most dealerships and automotive service chains. Everyone here has chosen the life of an auto mechanic because of their passion for cars and their desire to work in a independent business that really benefits their friends, family, and fellow human beings.

As long time upstanding members of the Boulder community we’re dedicated to environmentally responsible practices that seek to minimize waste and pollution in both the local and global spheres.

Verner McCall opened his garage in 1986 with the intention of providing excellent service at a reasonable price. He did it by attracting dedicated employees and buying his facilities and equipment outright instead of leasing. After 30+ years he’s still passionate about doing great work for his loyal customers.

He also loves mountain biking.
